A free bus-driving simulator game
Bus Simulator Crazy Drive is a fairly relaxed bus-driving game in which you travel out of your garage, follow a route, and return to your garage. The interface has a wheel and pedals for third-person perspective driving. It also has a very detailed first-person (driver seat) perspective.
This simulation game is very similar in theme, setting, and gameplay to Euro Truck Simulator 2. It is like a simplified version of Bus Driver. You learn to navigate the area and control the bus as you complete your route. Despite the game's name, the aim isn't to drive crazy, and there are no police in this driving simulator.
It has its charms
The game seems unfinished, but it has the makings of a good game. The driver interface has settings and features that even modern bus driver simulator games don't have. It is just a shame that the features and functions don't lead to any in-game consequence or benefit. For example, turning off the bathroom light doesn't anger the passengers.
The graphics are poor but consistent
Many cheaper shovelware games have inconsistent graphics because assets were taken from various libraries. However, this game has poor graphics, but they are consistent throughout. It is almost like it was built in 1999 and then released in 2023.
Seemingly poorly optimized
Perhaps it is a bug, but there is no title screen when you start the game. The coach driving game starts with content spoken in Croatian, and then you are expected to leave the garage and make your first stop. The language options are not easy to find.
An unfinished or torn-up game
The game doesn't have levels or progression. It simply makes you run the same route over and over. It seems very unfinished, almost as if they tore apart a different game and tried to build a new one upon its foundation. Either way, it doesn't offer much replay value.
